♖ Made in France on behalf of K&C London company during 1950s-60s.

♖ The wooden chess pieces are beautifully handcarved with the lighter color having a beautiful natural wood finish.

♖ Chess pieces come in a matching wooden slide lid storage box.

♖ There is a logo stamp of the company on the back of the box

♖ Item is in like new vintage condition with lovely antique patina - no signs of use.

♖ Size of board when open apprx 40 x 40 cm, height of king 10 cm.
