Primary Teaching Assistant

Full – time, 08:00 — 16:00 (Monday - Friday)

Limassol, New Port

Responsibilities

- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning activities

- Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning, encourage participation, and promote progress

- Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources

- Lead class and substitute class teacher when necessary

- Help maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment

- Provide general administrative and organisational support within the classroom

- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff in both Russian and English

- Promote the school’s ethos and values at all times

Requirements

- Fluent English (spoken and written), Russian knowledge is an advatage

- Previous experience working in a similar role, ideally within a primary school setting

- A basic understanding of the English National Curriculum is a plus

- Positive, proactive attitude with a passion for supporting young learners

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Reliable, organised and flexible
