We are seeking an entry-level Business Support Assistant to provide essential administrative and clerical support for our growing team.
About the Role
As our Business Support Assistant, you will be a key member of our team, managing communications, schedules and daily office activities to ensure smooth operations. This role requires flexibility and a hands-on approach, as your responsibilities may evolve to meet the changing needs of the business. The role also requires working with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Professionally manage incoming calls, taking accurate messages and directing enquiries efficiently.
• Handle email correspondence, ensuring prompt and clear responses.
• Coordinate appointment scheduling and organise meetings with multiple stakeholders.
• Prepare and distribute agendas and minutes to support productive meetings.
• Maintain organised filing systems, records, and document management.
• Perform data entry and other essential administrative tasks accurately.
• Complete company paperwork and assist with clerical duties as needed.
• Manage office supplies: monitor inventory, place orders as needed, and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Process invoices and support basic financial recordkeeping as required.
• Support social media platform management in alignment with company guidelines.
• Support various projects requiring clerical or administrative work.
• Adapt to shifting priorities and tasks as the business develops.
• Uphold company policies, promoting compliance across the team.
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred, but motivated and skilled candidates without similar experience are welcome to apply.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational abilities, multitasking proficiency, and excellent time management.
• Advanced skills in MS Office Software (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Experience in virtual and digital technology tools, including project management tools
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Positive, professional attitude and polished self-presentation.
• Handles confidential and sensitive information in a discrete and controlled manner.
• Any related degree or certificate (eg, Business Administration) is considered a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally between company locations.
