Gucci 1970s suitcase

Absolutely amazing vintage Gucci travel bag. Made of the classic brown leather with the eponymous red and green Gucci fabric stripe on the front and back. In decent condition considering its age, I think it was made in the 70’s. It has the authenticity code embossed on the leather label tab inside{01012B020812}. Bag has 2 leather embossed Gucci zips on the outside that fasten the suitcase, here is also a gucci gold tone bamboo lock on one of the zips, but I have since lost the key. A matching brown leather strap and huge gold tone Gucci buckle fasten at the top[this is more of a design feature]. The inside is fully lined in gold satin monogrammed CC fabric and has two elastic pockets on the inside. Please look at the pictures if you re It’s specific Condition as returns are Not Welcome. It is over 40 years old so there is an ever so slight musty smell, but it’s not at all strong. The back of the bag is quite scratched but this is due to luggage handling at airports, this does not take away from the bags beauty. The bag needs to be filled out with clothes to look its best. A similar bag was used in the 1969 James Bond “On her Majesty’s Secret Service” movie and I have seen similar suitcases being auctioned off at Christies. Viewings In nicosia Are Welcome!
