Greek Language Teacher for Adults

Limassol, New Port

Full-time / Part-time (specify as needed)

Start Date: September 2025

We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Greek Language Teacher to join our team and deliver engaging, practical lessons to adult learners at various proficiency levels.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and deliver Greek language lessons tailored to adult learners (A0–B2 levels).

- Use communicative and task-based methodologies to foster speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.

- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback.

- Develop and adapt teaching materials to suit learners’ needs.

- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

- Contribute to curriculum development and course planning.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Greek Language, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.

- Degree must be accredited by KY.S.A.T.S. (Cyprus Council for the Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications).

- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CELTA equivalent, or local teaching license).

- Proven experience teaching Greek as a second or foreign language to adults.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Fluent in Greek; good command of English (minimum B2 level) for communication with international learners. Russian language is a plus.

- Ability to work with diverse adult learners and adapt teaching to various cultural backgrounds.
