Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Officer / Complaints Handler to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the company operates in full compliance with local and international regulatory requirements (primarily CySEC regulations) and will be responsible for managing and resolving client complaints in a timely and professional manner.Job ResponsibilitiesMonitor and ensure ongoing compliance with CySEC regulations, MiFID II, AML directives, and other applicable laws.Draft, update, and implement internal compliance policies and procedures.Perform regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks.Submit regulatory reports to CySEC and other relevant bodies in a timely manner (e.g., EMIR, TRS, AMLCO reporting).Stay current on regulatory changes and communicate updates to relevant departments.Support in preparing the Annual Compliance Report, Risk-Based Approach (RBA), and other regulatory documents.RequirementsAct as the primary point of contact for receiving, logging, and investigating customer complaints.Ensure complaints are acknowledged and resolved in line with regulatory deadlines and company procedures.Maintain and update the Complaints Register as per CySEC guidelines.Conduct root cause analysis and liaise with internal departments (e.g., Customer Support, Trading, Legal) to gather facts and resolve issues.Draft formal responses to clients and handle correspondence with CySEC or the Financial Ombudsman where necessary.Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to systems or processes.Qualifications and Experience:University degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Compliance, Legal, or ComplaintsHandling role within an investment firm, ideally in the FX/CFD sector.Experience handling customer complaints in a regulated environment.Fluency in English (written and spoken);Key Skills:Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.Strong communication and drafting skills.Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
