Leia is looking for a home

Five weeks ago, my husband and I heard a faint meow and just couldn’t walk away. That’s how we ended up with a full-on restoration project named Leia.
This tiny kitten had two paws already in the afterlife, but we were set out to save her.
Aside from the standard “rescue package” of fleas, Leia had a severe infection and a shattered jaw that required surgery. (More details in the video.)
The road to recovery was long. We were literally piecing her back together.
But despite everything Leia turned out to be an absolute gem. Sweet, affectionate, and calm, she is a cuddle bug who just wants a warm lap and loving arms.
She used up 8 of her 9 lives and now she deserves to live the last one safe, adored, and purring in someone’s arms.
Sadly, we’re not in a position to keep her ourselves. So we’re looking for the best possible home for Leia.
