Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Kitchen Chef to join our team at Sunrise Bar, Café & Grill. The ideal candidate will be confident in preparing a variety of dishes, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including:

• Traditional breakfasts

• Cypriot cuisine

• Freshly made burgers and grill items

• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised kitchen environment at all times.

• Ensure all food is prepared and presented to a high standard and within agreed time frames.

• Follow and uphold food hygiene and health & safety standards in line with regulations.

• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation.

• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to deliver excellent customer service.

• Assist in menu development and daily specials where required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a chef or cook, preferably in a café, grill, or similar environment.

• Knowledge of Cypriot food, breakfast menus, and grill-style cooking (burgers, meats, etc.).

• Strong understanding of kitchen health & safety and hygiene practices.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication skills and a team-player attitude.

• Flexibility with working hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
