Nanny + housekeeper needed

Looking for a live-in nanny and house assistant
Conditions
• A private room with a large bed and a high-quality Askona mattress, food, utilities, fuel, and a car — all covered by us (savings of approximately €500–€1000).
• 8 hours per day with breaks + 2 days off per week (floating schedule — one week from Wednesday to Friday, the next from Friday to Sunday, occasionally other days). As long as the work is done, no one will be standing over you (feel free to work with music or videos in the background). You may even finish faster than 8 hours.
• Salary is paid in cash — weekly, biweekly, or monthly, whichever you prefer. If you can accept PayPal, we can agree on even better conditions. (Our previous nanny handled all tasks below for €1500/month)
• Paid vacation in line with our family vacation schedule, when we are away and you just need to look after the pets and tidy up after yourself. If you need time off at other times, it must be arranged in advance (unpaid).
• We live in Erimi, a village near Limassol: 10 minutes to the beach by car, 20 minutes to the city center.
⸻
Responsibilities
• Getting our daughter ready, feeding, driving to/from school, classes, or entertainment (most are 5–15 minutes away without using the highway), bathing her, and putting her to bed. She is 5 years old, independent and cooperative if you set clear boundaries and stick to them.
• Keeping the house and yard tidy (deep cleaning is done weekly by others). Daily maintenance includes loading/unloading the dishwasher, putting items and toys back in place, making beds, changing trash bags and taking out the garbage, vacuuming or mopping the kitchen tiles if needed, sweeping the veranda from fig leaves, wiping surfaces after meals, and occasionally tidying up a closet or the fridge.
• Monitoring groceries, discarding expired items (everything in the fridge must be stored in closed containers), ordering groceries online or making shopping lists, and organizing them in the fridge (~2 times a week).
• Preparing a simple breakfast for one person (like an omelet or boiled eggs) and cooking dinner for two a couple of times a week (recipes provided, everything is simple). Our daughter eats uncomplicated meals as well — broccoli, pasta, sausages, chicken, fish, dumplings, egg whites, omelets, yogurts, cereals, pancakes, porridge, etc. — the key is variety.
• Doing laundry (washing machine), drying, ironing, and neatly putting clothes away (some items are expensive and require care). If you arrange with the cleaning person who comes for the weekly deep clean, you can delegate some of the ironing to her, but some items must be handled right away (we will show you which ones).
• Feeding the parrot and the cat.
• Occasionally (1–2 times a month), helping host guests: chopping salad, putting potatoes in the oven, setting the table, and tidying up the next day (we usually clear the dishes ourselves).
• Miscellaneous small errands: driving the car to the car wash, taking us to the airport, organizing a closet or suitcase, arranging an activity for our daughter, or picking up mail.
⸻
Candidate Requirements
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Preferably under 55, the younger the better, as the job requires energy and good health.
• Neatness and cleanliness; no tendency to hoard or clutter.
• Ability to follow instructions and avoid “doing it your way” in secret.
• Good memory or ability to take notes and refer to them; strong organizational skills.
• Honesty and a calm attitude toward polite feedback; willingness to acknowledge and correct mistakes instead of making excuses, avoiding responsibility, or taking offense (I am not nitpicky, but I may ask for adjustments).
• Ability to keep personal and professional boundaries separate (I am very busy, cannot chat much during meals, and don’t want to mix personal life with work. I cannot host your children or partners in our home. I am not the most empathetic person due to my workload, so it’s important to communicate issues directly and clearly — I don’t understand hints).
• Any nationality is welcome, but speaking Russian and either English or Greek is highly preferred.
• Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
• No work permit is required, only permanent residency. (We do not arrange work permits. The job is informal, but if you are an EU citizen and want pension contributions, you can register as self-employed.)

About Us
We are a respectable family of three:
• I am a 37-year-old mom with my own business that requires my full attention 24/7.
• My husband is 30 and works in an office in a nearby city.
• My daughter (5 years old, from my previous marriage) is very social, needs regular interaction with other children (beach trips and playground visits are a must), and with the right approach, she is obedient, teachable, and independent. She loves sweets, so treats must be limited and only after proper meals. She’s still learning English and Greek but making steady progress.
We also have an outdoor cat and a parrot, and we plan to get a German Shepherd in the winter.
Our home is cozy, around 200 m², older but comfortable.
The car provided for your use is an older, reliable Mercedes.
We look forward to welcoming you to our family!
