BMW Z4 2,2L 2004

For sale 2004 E85 BMW Z4 2.2 automatic in a beautiful Maldives Blue color with black leather interior. The design by Anders Warming is timeless, it is a fun car to drive, runs great, no major repairs are expected any time soon.

Selling as it is a third car in a family and it is being used very rarely due to change in a life style.

- 2.2i (M54B22), automatic;

- Mileage: 161k km;

- MOT expires: 26/04/2026

- Road tax paid up to 09/2025

- The roof is manual, no point of expensive failure. No leaks during rain or car wash;

- A factory stereo is fitted with bluetooth.

Some of the replacements during my ownership:

- Changed transmission fluid (BMW-branded original) with filter and magnets (less than 15k km ago);

- New good tires — Michelin Primacy 4 (>500 euros);

- Engine oil+filter and coolant changed a couple of days ago, no need to worry for another 5-7k kilometers;

- Replaced broken stabilizer link on one side, will provide another one for free (no need to replace it right now);

- Relatively new Bosch battery (2023);

- Replaced alternator's voltage regulator (known issue);

- Replaced boot struts;

- Restored crumbled wiring isolation in headlights (known issue);

Not a big deal, but some flaws:

- Some minor scratches here and there (mostly on the front bumper due to low ground clearance). Looks great overall.

- A minor scratch on a right-side headlight;

- Key fob remote buttons work occasionally. Most probably, a battery replacement would help but I did not bother. I have ordered a spare key fob, cut it, but did not notice that it has a different frequency. In any way, there are two keys available now (which is kinda rare when you buy a used car).

Recommendations from garage full inspection after the recent oil change:

- A right steering tie rod end boot cover is cracked and worn out (costs peanuts to buy & replace).

- Engine rubber mounts may require changing.
